libmp3splt0 software package provides library for splitting MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmp3splt0
libmp3splt0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmp3splt0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmp3splt0 *
You will get with libmp3splt0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
